First Case
The heinous deeds committed by one individual gave rise to a malicious story, which in turn transformed the area into a spooky one. The young lady can be seen strolling about Mdina while clad in the Ghonnella, which is a traditional garment worn in Malta. She waits to motion for people to follow her at the end of the poorly lighted streets in utter quiet, and then she walks straight through a nearby wall.

Second Case
A headless bride who lurks in the shadowy roads of the city appears in the vacation photographs of many tourists, causing those who took the photographs to have unpleasant memories of their trips. It is also said that she visits men who have recently experienced the death of their wives or the breaking of their hearts and that she persuades them to give up on love and join her in the afterlife.

Manoel Island case, Gzira
After an outbreak of the black death on the island in 1592, the walled island, which had previously been used as the Bishop's house, was transformed into an isolation hospital. If the collapse of a crypt that belonged to a long-dead knight wasn't enough to fill the region with an excess of restless spirits, then the presence of an island that was full of people who had perished as a result of the plague surely would have done the trick.
