Overview

We offer a spectacular up close and personal look into the Maltese wine industry. It is the first and original wine tour of Malta that is dedicated to the discovery of its exquisite wines, wineries, estates, and vineyards. On this tour, we will take you to 2 of Malta’s most renowned estates, where you will get the chance to taste, discover and learn about the wine-making process of each estate along with a tasting session. You will also have the chance to buy wine directly from the estates. Both estates off traditional Maltese food platters to go with your wine.
Cancellations / rescheduling must be submitted 48hrs prior to the commencement of the date the wine tour has been booked. If we are not notified before the 48hr notice period, no refund will be issued. Our minimum is 2 guests per tour, therefore, we cannot guarantee or confirm a tour for one person unless there is another booking on the day. In these circumstances MWT will either request a rescheduling or cancelation.

What To Expect

Triton Fountain

The Tritons’ Fountain is ocated just outside the City Gate of Valletta, and is also one of our pick up points. It consists of three bronze Tritons holding up a large basin, balanced on a concentric base built out of concrete and clad in travertine slabs. The fountain is one of Malta's most important Modernist landmarks.

Mdina

Apart from our day of wine tasting and touring, we will be passing by some incredible and breathtaking land marks. One of the vineyards we will be visiting sits right beneath this ancient, fortified city.

Lamp lit by night and known as ‘The Silent City’, Mdina is a delightful place to visit. You have to visit, simply because Mdina is one of the most picturesque and majestic places in the Maltese Islands.

The city’s narrow streets lit by warm glowing orange lights are particularly beautiful at night also.

If you visit by day, be sure to stop off in one of the many coffee shops, and don’t miss St Paul’s Cathedral, the Mdina Dungeons, and the wonderful Natural History Museum.

This fortified city and its narrow streets date back to the Bronze Age when the Phoenicians colonized Malta. Mdina was first inhabited and fortified around 700 BC and was at that time called Maleth.

Marsovin

One of the estates we will be visiting is Masovin. With over 100 years of winemaking experience, Marsovin provides award winning wine that will blow you away.

Meridiana Wine Estate

Marsovin was launched just after WW2 and was built on a military airfield providing a 14 hectares of land to plant grapes on. Now Meridiana is one of Malta's most renowned vineyards.
