Highly recommend this tour. Julia has an amazing knowledge of Valletta and gave us a great insight to the history and landmarks. She also had some fab restaurant recommendations and obviously has local knowledge and contacts so was able to give us lots of tips.
Our first evening in Valletta

we had a great time with our guide who was very knowledgeable. It was an individual tour so we had the guides undivided attention. We took the tour on our first evening in Valletta. It was much cooler and Valletta was really buzzing as everyone came out for the evening. The town was so pretty from the garden down to the harbor. It was lovely to see Valletta at night and get our bearings for the remainder of our trip. This is a really good orientation tour or if you only have a short time in Valletta. Really recommend this tour.
Just book it!

We had the absolute honour to have Julia for ourselves during this tour.

Julia knows Valletta inside and out. She is an amazing guide who knows how to tailor to her audience. She brings the tour with a lovely sense of humour, and knows how to weave the past to the present. We loved being able to ask many questions, and Julia always had an answer, she is extremely knowledgable. This way you get to know Valletta in al it's aspects.

This tour no doubt is fantastic value for money. Purely the fact that she never cancels no matter how many people book is amazing.

I can highly recommend this tour and most of all Julia!

Julia is a phenomenal tour guide. She provided a ton of historical information about the city (and country) as well as a lot of information about present day Malta. I would highly recommend this tour!
Valetta according to Julia

Julia was a refreshing antidote to the stereotyped image of the tour guide, being warm, funny and engaging and shared some of her true thoughts/opinions on her city, but always in a professional and sensitive manner. It was a real shame that Julia was joined only by two of us on her city tour, which made it difficult to give the feeling of a fully fledged tour. (This was not a failing on Julia's part). Julia combined history and current affairs in telling us more about Valetta, and this left us feeling much better informed about this breathtaking city. Julia also imparted information on the culinary side of Malta, including some practical advice on seeking out good authentic restaurants, and introduced us to prickly pear liqueur and a vegan cake stall, which was quirky and fun.
