Inland Sea
This site is just one of several amazing wonders in Dwejra, Gozo. From a geomorphological point of view, the Inland Sea may just be the most interesting feature in the area; most certainly so after the more famous Azure Window collapsed in March 2017. Apart from the Inland Sea, Dwejra hosts three other sinkholes, namely Dwejra Bay, Berwin and the smaller Blue Hole. The causes for sinkholes vary considerably. In Malta, rain water seeping through the ground may dissolve limestone, evaporite (natural salts) or gypsum (as in the case of Dwejra) below ground with its slightly acidic pH. As a cave is formed, the weight of the unsupported ‘ceiling’ eventually gives way, leaving a deep, usually rounded depression in the ground. The depression containing the Inland Sea measures between 300m and 400m in diameter.

Victoria
Ir-Rabat (Victoria) is the capital city of the island of Gozo. The name Victoria was given to the town in 1887 in honour of the famous British Queen’s Golden Jubilee. At the same time, the town was raised to the status of a city becoming officially known as Citta’ ir-Rabat (Victoria).

Tal Mixta Cave
is a natural cave located on the eastern side of Ramla Bay. It has become increasingly crowded by both Maltese nationals and tourists raising ecological concerns

Ramla Bay
There’s some history to Ramla l-Ħamra as well, with the Romans having built a villa overlooking the bay, richly decorated with marble and stucco and boasting its own hot bath supplied with fresh water from a nearby natural spring.

During the time of the Knights of St. John, the beach was fortified to defend Gozo from foreign threats, constructing the Vendome battery in 1715 and a submerged wall to deter invaders from landing on the beach.

Island of Gozo
Wied l-Għasri, the Ghasri Valley, is a marvellous place for a country walks or bike ride, especially in winter and spring. The valley begins at Ta’ Dbieġi Hill before winding down through the village of l-Għasri, and on between iż-Żebbuġ and Ta’ Ġurdan Hill to meet the sea between impressive cliffs. Wied il-L-Għasri is very popular with divers who like to explore the surrounding underwater caves. The very narrow and secluded bay is also a haven for those who seek a quiet bathing area.

Hondoq Bay
Hondoq ir-Rummien is a small sandy beach and crystal clear waters make this a popular swimming place, particularly amongst locals.

From here there is another service wich can take you for a small trip to commino but this is extra service we have no info about it

Gita alle grotte
Vanni F, 11-09-2022
