GENERAL INFORMATION |

The Howard Johnson Mediterranea Hotel and Suites, a four star property, is located at the top of a hill, commending a breathtaking view of both the picturesque fishing harbour as well as the historic St. Paul's Island which unfolds majestically onto the glittering, blue Mediterranean Sea.
The enviable location of the hotel is such that, it stands at the divide of two worlds of a diverse yet equally compelling nature.
The bay below the complex provides excellent aquatic sports and bathing facilities. The bustle and energy, emanating from lively Bugibba, is only a few minutes walk from the complex. Here one is drawn to the vibrant atmosphere of a place festooned with a multitude of restaurants, bars, discos, shops, as will as a cinema complex and a casino. A sandy beach is with in walking distance from the hotel.

Restaurants & Bars
The Al Faro Restaurant
The main restaurant is open throughout the week and offers a buffet style breakfast, serving a vast selection of hot and cold lunches and a sumptuous four course dinner. The bar is open daily and serves all beverages and a selection of snacks all through the day.
Pool Bar
Open during the sunny summer days, serving a variety of grills, salads and refreshments by the pool.
A real haven for all guests, overlooking the clear crystal waters of the Mediterranean Sea and St. Paul's Islands.
Fitness Centre
For privacy and comfort, the fitness centre is available for hotel guests only. Guests may make use of the machines: bench-press, bicycle and stepper. The sauna is situated at the gym, with adjoining private showers.
Fitness Centre is open daily.
Roof Top Pool With Whirlpool
The roof top swimming-pool includes a large Jacuzzi, and commends an awesome view of St.Paul's Bay and the Mediterranean sea. The sun terrace surrounding the pool, offers ample space for the guests to relax and enjoy themselves in the sunshine.

The Howard Johnson Mediterranea Hotel & Suites has been restructured and refurbished in a rustic style which blends beautifully with the vista of the fishing village.
Each hotel room, studio, one bedroom and two bedroom apartments is fitted with rustic furniture, a private bathroom, direct dial telephone, satellite television, radio, air conditioning and ceiling fans.
The studios also provide a dining area and kitchenette, whilst one and two bedroom apartments include a private bathroom, a separate shower room, a living area with armchairs and a double sofabed, a fully equipped kitchen and dining area.
Room Service is available. A Laundry/Dry Cleaning service and the use of office equipment is also available.

Payment Requirements
For your convenience, Internet Travel Group offers secure online payments with the following credit cards: Visa, Mastercard and American Express. Please note that, should you prefer, you are able to supply your credit card information by fax. We are unable to accept your reservation request without credit card details, though you will only be billed once your booking has been confirmed, the credit card information verified and our confirmation voucher sent to you by email.
For all reservations
-A 20% upfront will be charged at the moment of confirmation.
-The balance will be charged 1 week prior to arrival.
Cancellation Policy
-If cancellation is received 16 days or more prior to arrival, then a 20% of the full amount will be lost.
-If a cancellation is received 15 days or less prior to arrival, then the full amount will apply as a penalty.
-No shows will result on the full amount being charged as a cancellation fee.
Children Policy
-Children over the age of 12 are considered as adults.
-Children requiring their own room are charged as adults.
Liability
Internet Travel Group acts as intermediary between all hotels, transport operators, tourist attraction companies, and local tourist offices providing the services. Internet Hotel Rental Group is therefore not responsible for any loss, injury or damage sustained by the tourists; including those occurring outside of the touring programmes. Additional expenses incurred due to delay, accident, acts of God or political actions / unrest must be borne by the tourists. Programmes and prices, services and conditions are based on those valid at the time of being posted on the site. They are therefore subject to change without advance notice before or during the tour / stay / excursion / car rental. A submitted reservation request is indicative of the tourist agreement to the above conditions.

Price & Payment
Unless otherwise stated, at the time of booking only a deposit is due. The remanining balance is payable on check-in and charged by the hotel direct. hotel-savings.com accepts Visa, Mastercard & American Express.
For security purposes, should your reservation incur a charge in excess of USD 400.00, you must submit a signed credit card authorization form. This will be supplied upon confirmation of the reservation. If you fail to fax across this documentation within 48 hours, we reserve the right to cancel the reservation. Please note that as per our cancellation policy, there may be a fee for this.
Flight Information
If you are to arrive at your hotel after 5pm, please provide Hotelrentalgroup with your flight information, so that we may be able to advise the hotel of what time they can expect you. Should your flight be delayed, we strongly recommend that you contact the hotel directly to inform them of this.
Period of Stay / Rate Calculation
All stays are calculated and sold "per night". We can only guarantee a room until noon (12pm). Late check-outs can be requested at the moment of reservation in the additional comments box, but may come at an additional fee (usually 50% of the nightly rate).
Cancellation Policies & Charges
Cancellations must be received in writing by e-mail, with as much notice as possible. Penalty fees may apply. Please check the terms & conditions, as these policies vary from hotel to hotel.
Cancellation Charges On All Reservations
-On all confirmed reservations, 20% of the total amount will be lost.
-Further cancellation charges may apply depending on the hotel.

No Shows
No Shows will result in a 100% penalty fee.
Reservation & Confirmation
All reservations made on the web sites operated by hotel-savings.com will receive a temporary confirmation number. This temporary number does not mean that the hotel room is available and is only for administrative purposes. Your final confirmation will be sent to you on your official confirmation voucher within 24 hours, unless, due to unforeseen circumstances, the hotel does not get back to us within this time frame. hotel-savings.com is not responsible for any such delays.
Early departures
In addition to the standard cancellation policy, we would like to stress the point that the hotels are very strict regarding changes to the length of clients’ stays. Therefore we would like to inform you that clients departing before their booked check out date will be charged for the remaining nights and, no being made for unused nights.
Check In & Check Out Policy
Your room will be made available to you from 14h00 (unless stated otherwise in the terms & conditions of the hotel). Should you require a guaranteed early check in, the room must be booked and paid for in full for the day preceeding your stay.
Check out time is 12:00 hrs. For a guaranteed late check-out, clients should book for an additional night, charged at 100%.

All special offers, packages and discounts over our standard rates are offered subject to availability. hotel-savings.com cannot accept any responsibility in the unlikely event that these are temporarily unavailable.

In order to secure a room, it is mandatory to have a credit card.
General Conditions and liability
All reservations made by clients are subject to our terms and conditions. No other terms, conditions and warranties, expressed or implied by law, custom and course of dealing shall form part of any contract between hotel-savings.com and our clients except for those terms imposed by law where application is mandatory.
The client acknowledges that in making a reservation with hotel-savings.com they do so only on the basis of the material contained in the hotel-savings.com Web Site or relevant advertising medium. All other statements or representations made by hotel-savings.com, its employees, agents or sub-contractors are of no effect unless confirmed in writing by hotel-savings.com to the client.
hotel-savings.com sources hotels from various hotel companies in the countries in which it operates. The condition of the stay will be subject to the law of the country in which it is supplied to you. You will be subject to its terms and conditions and local law.
hotel-savings.com reserves the right to pass on to the client any government increase in local VAT or other taxes that may be introduced after a reservation is made. Any additional charges payable on arrival are subject to local VAT at the prevailing rate in that country.
The liability of hotel-savings.com to the client for any loss, problem, damage or cancellation, whether arising out of negligence, breach of contract, error or any other cause shall not exceed the invoiced total value of the confirmation voucher supplied by hotel-savings.com.
