Location. Seashells Resort at Suncrest is located in Oawra, Malta, 100 metres from St Paul's Island, one kilometre from a sandy beach, and three kilometres from the Roman tombs of Xemxija.
Hotel Features. This multi-coloured resort curves along the line of the bay of Oawra and sits next to the Mediterranean sea. The resort overlooks two outdoor pools. Five bars and restaurants are also on site. Tal-Kaptan Pizzeria serves lunch and dinner daily; Le Pavilion features buffet dishes for breakfast and dinner; and It-Tokk restaurant overlooks the pool and hosts theme nights throughout the week. An Internet cafe offers Internet access for a fee, as well as serves snacks, coffee, and cakes. The hotel provides a separate pool with a water slide for children, and a kids' club is open daily. A water-sports centre and diving school are open during summer months, and Reflections nightclub opens on weekends. Ballroom and line-dancing are taught during the winter. Complimentary use of a nearby fitness centre with a heated indoor pool, squash court, and sauna, is available.
Guestrooms. Guestrooms feature decor in warm colours, patterned bedding, and air conditioning. Bathrooms include hair dryers. Rooms also provide satellite television, direct-dial phones, and minibars (available on request).
Expert Tip. The Xemxija prehistoric rock tombs are three kilometres from the resort. When excavated, the tombs showed numerous bones, pottery, shell buttons, and stone pendants, and represent an important part of archaeological history.
