Ramla Bay Resort is a beachfront resort set in extensive landscaped gardens on the northernmost shore of Malta overlooking the islands of Gozo and Comino, two kilometres from Mellieha Bay. Spread over three floors, the hotel features 182 air-conditioned guestrooms decorated in cool Mediterranean colours, all of which include balconies or terraces, satellite TV, radios, hairdryers, minibars and safes. Bed and breakfast, half board and All-Inclusive rates are available. Sea view rooms have views over to Gozo and Comino, and deluxe rooms include seating areas.
The resort has two outdoor sea water pools and one indoor pool, heated during the winter months; there are also two children's pools. Lounge chairs and umbrellas are located on the pool deck where guests can sip cool drinks from the poolside bar whilst bronzing in the sun. The private sandy beach also offers sun beds and umbrellas free of charge for guests. There is a fitness room, and after a work out, guests can unwind in the steam room, sauna and spa tub, or indulge in a massage. The main restaurant serves a buffet of international dishes and Maltese specialities with show cooking; children's dishes are also available. The hotel offers a full entertainment programme throughout the day during the summer season, with aerobics classes, sports activities, games, salsa dancing classes, and live entertainment in evenings in the Sunset Lounge Bar. Children are kept busy at the kids' club which offers fun, supervised activities such as face painting, mask making, water-polo, treasure hunts and kids' shows. At the beach guests can enjoy free use of pedal boats and canoes, while the Blue Waves Water Sports Centre provides activities including jet skis, water skiing, windsurfing, fishing trips and speed boat rentals (surcharges apply). There is also a scuba diving centre. Onsite amenities include a mini-market, Internet corner, conference rooms, souvenir shop and free parking. The closest village, Mellieha, has numerous shops, bars and restaurants, and boats to the islands of Comino and Gozo take just 20 minutes from the hotel. Malta Airport is 27 kilometres away, an approximate driving time of 45 minutes.
All-Inclusive plan - The All-Inclusive rate includes the following: room accommodations; buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner; soft drinks, tea, coffee, local beer, wine and spirits; snack bar including sandwiches and cakes; pedal boats, canoes, use of swimming pools, beach and pool sun loungers, table tennis, use of fitness centre, sauna, steam room and spa tub, aerobics, salsa dancing, kids' club for children aged four to 12 years old, activities and entertainment.
Not included: Premium alcohol, minibar items, drinks after 11 PM, babysitting services, certain kids' club activities, massage treatments, water sports, scuba diving, bicycle hire, transfers, transport, in-room safe, Internet and phone usage. |
